Adolescent Substance Misuse and Youth & Family Prevention Services

Pima Prevention Partnership (PPP) is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization, and was founded in 1992. PPP has been creating conditions for change among youths, families, institutions, and community groups. The focus of PPP is to support and help underserved adolescents and their families.

Partnership Schools

​

Our schools are tuition-free charter schools for grades 6-12. Our dedicated teachers and support staff, small class sizes, and individualized learning plans help our students develop the skills they need to achieve success in school and beyond.

Our History

With decades of serving Tucson and Phoenix communities, our focus has remained the same — to create conditions for change — enriching the health and quality of life of those we serve. Understanding our journey, guides us in the present, and prepares us for the future.

Founder Harry Kressler

​

Harry Kressler, the founding Executive Director of the Pima Prevention Partnership, passed away on January 19, 2015 of pancreatic cancer, He was 62. Harry Kressler became the nonprofit organization’s Executive Director when the agency started, with one project focusing on substance abuse prevention, in 1992. Under his leadership, it grew to more than 80 projects and a budget of $10.7 million. Pima Prevention Partnership now serves more than 12,000 adolescents and their families in Tucson and Phoenix.
