Work Force Development

The goal of Pima Prevention Partnership’s Pathways to Justice Careers Workforce Development Program, Pima PJC for short, is to motivate high school juniors and seniors who live in low-resourced, high-crime areas to consider first responder and justice careers. Young adults who participate in Pima PJC have access to dynamic career exploration, work readiness skill training, certification opportunities and internship experiences. This program, offered to youth in partnership with Pima County One-Stop Youth Employment Center, helps young people envision a future after high school graduation and gives them the tools to pursue it.
