Project Pledge and B-Unique
(AE Pledge Project and Pledge II are funded respectively by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Health Resource and Services Administration, Grant Award No. H1DMC00386-0304; and HHS, Administration for Children, Youth and Families, Award No. 90AE0081/01)
The Partnership's Project Pledge program is an education program for youth ages 12-18 years old. The Partnership uses federally approved curricula to increase the percentage of 5,000 middle and high school student who commit to sexual abstinence before marriage.
The purpose of the Project Pledge and B-Unique programs is to reduce the incidence of out-of-wedlock pregnancies and sexually transmitted diseases among 12-18 year-old teens.
